Preparation & Process:
What do I need to do to prepare my floors before your arrival?
All you need to do is move small items from the top of the furniture. We’ll do the heavy lifting, moving the furniture and protecting all the baseboards, cabinets and walls with plastic. At the end of the workday, we’ll return the furniture to its original location.
How long does the restoration process take?
Generally, we complete approximately 1,000 sf in 8 hours. Before we leave for the day, we replace all the furniture and make sure everything is as clean as before we started.
Is the cleaning process safe for children and pets?
Yes. We prioritize the safety and well-being of all our clients and their loved ones. Our cleaning process is meticulously designed to be safe for children and pets.

Products & Equipment:
What kind of cleaning products do you use? Are they eco-friendly?
The products that we use are kid and pet friendly when they dry. The manufactures of these products know that little feet and hands will be all over my work as soon as I finish the job so they make their products with that in mind.
Do your cleaning products leave any residue?
When we finish cleaning any floor the last step is to do a clean water rinse which ensures the floor is free of any residue.
What kind of equipment do you use? Will it be noisy or disruptive?
We use diamond abrasive pads and water to lubricate the diamonds under a weighted floor machine.
There is some noise associated with the restoration process but customers that work from home are always able to do their work while our work is in progress.
Pricing:
How do you price your services? Is it based on square footage or type of flooring?
Every floor is different and requires a different level of service. Requirements such as furniture that may need to be moved, the amount of objects that need to be worked around such as cabinets and toilets which require extra time so the price is usually based on the time that is estimated on completing the job.
Results & Maintenance:
How soon after having my travertine floors polished can I walk on them?
After having your travertine floors polished, it is generally safe to walk on them after about 2-4 hours.
While the surface will be safe to walk on after this initial curing period, we typically recommend waiting a full 24 hours for the floor to fully set and cure before resuming heavy foot traffic or moving furniture back onto the surface.
This ensures the longevity and effectiveness of the polish and protects your investment in your beautifully polished floors.
How long will the shine last?
This depends on how the floor is cared for. With regular maintenance the shine on a polished stone floor can last 5 years or more.
Sand tracked in on the bottom of shoes tends to be the biggest culprit in damaging floors. If you can keep the sand off of any floor whether it be stone, wood or vinyl it will look better for a longer period of time.
What should we use to clean the floors?
Dust moping and wet mopping using a ph neutral floor cleaner on a regular basis is advised. Changing to inside shoes when you enter your home will help keep your floor clean and prevent staining and buildup.
Will the cleaning remove all stains from my floor?
Flooring materials that we clean are affected by chemicals or products that may have damaged the floor. All stains are not possible to remove but most are. We can usually tell which spots are permanent and which spots are not when we are giving an estimate.
How often should I get my floors professionally cleaned?
The frequency of having your floors cleaned depends on many different factors such as the type of floor, frequency of care provided by the customer and amount of traffic. VCT tile floors in a commercial environment that have been stripped and waxed usually need to be stripped and waxed every year where a Travertine or Terrazzo floor in a residential environment that has been restored can last 5 years or more.
Do you offer any guarantees or warranties on your services?

Can you handle high-traffic areas or areas with heavy staining?
High traffic areas can sometimes be “serviced” in-between floor cleanings for less than half the cost.
What if I have different types of flooring throughout my property?
We clean many types of floors. Many times our customers have a small room that needs to be cleaned of a different material and we can almost always take care of their request.
